Maeklong Railway & Damnoen Saduak Floating Market Day Tour from Bangkok | Thailand

Our tour guide, Mr. Duan (Ronghua), was very kind and sincere. He constantly reminded us of things to be aware of and what was worth buying. He even gave excellent advice on our itinerary outside of the main tour. Furthermore, Mr. Duan was a very good photographer and always offered to take pictures for us. The driver also took good care of the elderly passengers on the bus.

Today's trip was wonderful! A special thank you to our guide, Brother Ah San, for his patient and detailed explanations throughout the journey, which helped me better understand the 300-year-old Buddhist temple culture and appreciate Thailand's rich historical heritage. Brother Ah San was also incredibly patient and considerate, helping my mother get on and off the bus, navigating the train stairs, holding an umbrella for her, taking photos for us, and recommending delicious and affordable Thai restaurants and shops. We also want to thank our driver, who drove smoothly and safely throughout the day, making our journeys to and from the floating market and the train market very comfortable. His Chinese is also excellent! We initially thought he was Chinese, but later learned he was a local Thai! Your companionship and dedication made this trip even more wonderful and unforgettable. I was so happy to have Duan Ronghua, such an experienced and considerate tour guide. He explained Thai history in great detail and was very attentive throughout the trip, constantly recommending many affordable and delicious places. Enjoyed the tour so much! Thanks Specially to Lisa and the driver. we really had fun , there’s a lot of unexpected things we did. First, Lisa treated us a Thai Milktea. Mind you, if she didn’t given this, we wouldnt have a taste of Thai Milktea as this was the only tea we drank the whole stay. Second, this was really a surprise! I thought we would only take photo with the train, but she let us experience riding on it! It was my first time riding on a train like that! We’ll we have trains in our country but its a metro within the city, unlike this its pure authentic. riding with the locals seeing a glimpse of their daily lives. My mother kept praising her with her photographic skills! she kept talking about it until next day, she loved the photos she took.

We had an amazing experience with our tour guide during our visit to the Maeklong Railway Market. 成素美 was incredibly friendly and reliable, making sure every part of our trip was seamless. One of the highlights was how enthusiastically she took lots of fantastic photos for our family, capturing precious memories. Meet at the designated MRT statiob after which comes a very long 2+hr drive then you visit a temple for a short while afterwhich you go to the floating market where you dont pay for the boat, its covered in the costs already. you just tell the boat driver when to stop and you buy stuff as you pass. There are those snakes which you can take photos with. I recommend bartering since my friend was given an inital price of 1.5k baht when i honestly believe 600 is already alot. Then comes the railway. Theres not a whole lot but you can shop as well as getting to sit on the train and ride it one station which is also covered.

Comes in a small group of people which is more relaxing. Thumbs up for the tour guide as well. He took good care of the members and explained very details at every place we go.

On time and the transport was comfortable and clean. Guide was friendly and gave enough info for three trips.
