We felt really pleased with the service provided by this tour. The tour guide communicated well with us to make sure we knew how to find the bus at Taichung HSR and what time we would be picked up from the hotel. As it turned out, the weather was not suitable for stargazing but the tour guide provided a trip to see the sunrise at Hehuanshan as an alternative. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered questions about the night sky and the local environment at Hehuanshan. We were really impressed by how cheerful and professional this service was.

Many thanks to the tour leader and driver for taking us to a platform free of light pollution for stargazing. We were lucky; the clouds finally cleared after more than an hour. However, I would still suggest that the guide not to use the laser pointer too much, as it might affect those who want to take photos.

The stargazing bus will pick you up from your guesthouse, so you don't have to drive on the mountain roads at night. There will be professional instructors to explain stargazing knowledge and help you take beautiful photos. Finally, and best of all, you'll get to see a meteor shower with your own eyes!

Due to potential traffic control measures at Hehuanshan, the itinerary could not be confirmed until the morning of the trip. The minibus was very comfortable, and the driver arrived on time to pick us up. Upon arriving at the Dark Sky Park, a stargazing guide was already waiting for us on the platform with live telescope equipment. He gave a comprehensive explanation of the background of the Hehuanshan Dark Sky Park and the winter star clusters, and guided everyone on how to take clear photos of the starry sky with their phones. It was a truly awe-inspiring and moving experience.
