[Holiday Availability] Hualien Qixingtan｜Jump Star Camp｜Tent and Camper Van

No need to bring anything except yourself and clothes. The owners are easy to talk to, you can borrow the things from them if you want to do BBQ, and store your food in their fridge. Very close to the beach and can see the sunrise, although a little blocked by some buildings.

This was the perfect glamping experience! We were assigned the Amazon tent, which was setup inside a big cabin with a small living area inside the enclosure. There is an inverter AC setup but it will only cool the inside of the tent. There’s also free breakfast included, and you can freely use the bike/scooter/play area. You can rent the grill for an additional fee of NT$250, but you need to buy the meat by yourself. The beach is ~3 min walk away but you can easily see it from the camping site. Do note that is a little far from the city center, it is hard to book a taxi in the area and if you will commute, buses only pass by once every hour.

The owners are very friendly. We got upgrade to the bigger tent coz someone canceled due to bad weather weekend. Though it's quite windy but no rain , we really enjoy this trip. 🏖️

The place is not difficult to find, but may need some communication with the driver as the alleyway up is narrow. The campground itself looks quite nice - but that being said - it is a campground and not really a glamping site. You can get dirty walking around and food options around are not glamorous (just a FamilyMart and some family-run shacks). The neighbourhood is quiet but tranquil, good for morning runs.

Because of my family's joint discomfort, I had to cancel this room type, so I haven't stayed there yet. However, I booked the room a month in advance, so I can't refund it. However, the boss was very kind and let me postpone it until June next year.

If you don't like sharing a toilet, you need to do more research. Otherwise, it's quite clean. However, although some rooms have air conditioning, they are hot and stuffy during the day.

We had a lot of fun. The scenery of the nearby Qixingtan is really beautiful. We watched the sea for a long time at the beach. The sound of the waves was very pleasant. Although the tent was a bit old, it was surprisingly warm. Camping in the cold winter is also a great choice. Listening to the sound of the wind and waves outside, my family and I slept very comfortably. In addition, our family likes the rattan chair swing outside the tent. The included breakfast was also delicious, and there were many cute cats 😂 There was an orange cat that ran outside our tent and kept looking at us. The black cat followed us along the road. Treading Star's own cow cat kept circling around us, meowing. The other dairy cat and the spotted cat would not come close to me. In short, for those who like cats, it is a cat paradise. But after leaving the camp and going outside, there are other people's dogs. I, who am afraid of dogs, start to get nervous. Cats are bolder than me and are not afraid of dogs. Walking with a dog on one side and a cat on the other, I feel a little braver. I just have to pay attention to my steps for fear of stepping on it. Hualien has beautiful mountains and waters~Great! You can also try camping in winter, it’s a different experience!

The hostess and boss are very friendly and the service is great! There are air conditioners and fans in the tent, so you don’t have to worry about getting too hot in the summer. The public bathrooms are also very good. The camp area is really beautiful and perfect for taking pictures!
