HSU’s Noodle in Shiding, New Taipei City | Flowing Noodles, Handmade Noodles, & Scallion Pancake DIY Experience | Family-Friendly Attraction in New Taipei

This was a very fun, heartwarming and educational experience for our family. I would do it again and bring friends! My kids learned about the rich heritage of pulled noodle making and the area was super clean. The view up in the mountains was so amazing!

It’s a good activity for the entire family, young and old! Good experience to hands on part of the noodles making process and to “catch” the noodles flowing down the bamboo to eat.

One of the highlight of our trip! We bought tickets for noodle making and flowing noodle tasting, such a fun experience. Thank you for the hospitality and many beautiful photos. Highly recommended for group of friends or family!

location is hard to get to unless you have transport. we were the only ones booked for the 9.30am slot so it felt like a private session. we loved the instructor's humour and clear detailed instructions as well as guiding us to take nice photos. we added on the scallion pancake DIY after that, 200nt per person. catching the flowing noodles and grapes was the most fun, my parents had the most fun. imagine 3 people panicking to catch the noodles together and had chopsticks on both hands. we asked for more chilli to go with the noodles, it was so yummy, that was lunch itself. after leaving Hsu's noodles we went to a nearby maltose factory in Shiding itself. Google that for more info. we extremely loved this activity

Highly recommended for couples, groups, families, kids, adults and seniors. Get to learn and experience noodle making via a very patient and fun teacher. Enjoyed the experience as well as the “flowing water noodles”.

It was an interesting experience. The guide introducing the somen making process was engaging and funny. There were also loads of photos taken by another guide demonstrating the somen making. Four of us had lots of fun!

Very fun hands on experience for all the 3 activities we did, especially the scallion pancake making session and water flowing noodles. The noodle pulling was fun too. Excellent service and explanation from the staff members. Highly recommend to go especially for families with children. Only downside is the remote location, more suitable if you have pre-arranged transport.

The on-site staff will also help take beautiful photos during the ramen noodles, but the photo time is a bit more than the ramen time. The flowing water is also fun, but the taste is ordinary. The venue control is very good, even if there are many people, it is very orderly.

It began with some explanations. Then, we got to pull the noodles and skip using them. The staff will help you take lots of pictures. Our kids were really excited about the noodles catching and eating part!
