Rovaniemi Day Tour: Ounasvaara Mountain, Ranua Zoo & Husky and Reindeer Farm Visit | Finland

The huskies are fun and fast, and the Raindeer are slow. Great view from the mountain. One hour then to the zoo. Buffet lunch was good and just keep gokng until you are full, includes drinks. Then the guides walked us around for 1.5-2 hours. Lots to see. November 30 not need the full overalls gear, but the boots are a good idea. Free at the office at the start of the day. Good customer service and great guides on the trip.

The itinerary was well arranged, the time and activities were well coordinated, and the tour guide was also very responsible in explaining and accompanying us. The husky sled experience was a bit short, otherwise it would have been better.

Joining the “Ranua Wildlife Park Day Tour” led by our guide James was an unforgettable experience! The itinerary included husky and reindeer sledding, a visit to the Arctic zoo, breathtaking snowy landscapes, and delicious local cuisine. James was professional and thoughtful throughout the entire day—he took great care of everyone and provided detailed explanations about the animals and Finnish culture. The day was well-paced, fulfilling but not rushed. I highly recommend this tour and truly appreciate the warmth James brought to the experience!

We were lucky to have a tour guide who could speak Mandarin. He patiently and conscientiously introduced each step and helped us take photos. We had a happy day.

You can experience both the husky and elk sleds, which is great!! The zoo is also quite interesting. You can see arctic foxes and polar bears. These polar animals are also great, but it takes some time to find the owls. They are well hidden.

You can see polar bears, and the snow scenery outside the snow mountain is very beautiful. It is a tour worth going.

In the morning, we went to pull reindeer and husky sleds, climbed a small hill for 20 minutes, and saw the entire snow scenery of Rovaniemi. In the afternoon, we went to the zoo to see Arctic animals, which was very interesting. The zoo is more natural and beautiful than I imagined. The tour guide was very enthusiastic, helped take photos, explained some animal knowledge, and it was a great experience
