Gyeongju 1-Day Tour | Hwangnidan-gil, Daereungwon, Bulguksa Temple, Gyeongju Gyochon Traditional Village, Anapji, & Woljeonggyo Bridge (Departure from Busan) | South Korea

This was a very well organized day tour to visit Gyeongju. We learned a lot of history from our guide, Erica. It was fun! We had not only great photos to remember the beautiful sites by but also the historical context associated with them.

Tour guide, Giselle 小雪, did a great job for guiding and explaining the history of each view point whole day. Five stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Bulguksa Temple (佛国寺) - There are statues of the Four Heavenly Kings (the Four Heavenly Kings who decide your next life) in front of the temple. After entering the temple, there are temples worth kneeling and worshipping, such as the Daewongjeon/Geolakjeon/Arhatjeon Woljeong Bridge (月精桥) - A beautiful bridge with no ancient blueprints found. A popular spot for Internet beauties to take photos and check in. Gyeongju Gyochon Traditional Village (庆州历史村) - The kindness and simplicity of the local people in the early days. The residence of the Choi family is 100 meters in radius. If people were in trouble at that time, they could ask your family for food relief. There is a wine brewing factory next to the Choi family. On the other side, the first university in the school town was built. Daereungwon Tomb Complex (大陵苑) & Hwangnidan-gil - As the name suggests, it is a park that commemorates the ancients (generals/high-ranking officials, etc.) The Cheonma Tomb is the only place you can visit. The neighborhood next to it sells traditional and modern snacks. There are also cafes/clothing stores, etc. You can go shopping and take beautiful photos. Donggung Palace & Wolji Pond (East Palace and Moon Pond) - The residence of the prince in the early days. A place to welcome guests and discuss political affairs. There is a small island on the opposite bank for deer, rabbits, monkeys and other animals to watch

I really enjoyed the trip. It was jam packed yet very enjoyable. Bada, our tour guide is very knowledgeable about history and the sight seeing is very beautiful. I really learned a lot.

It was a nice day tour. We saw a lot of interesting places. Cayla was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot of the history and culture of Korea.

The tour focus more on the 3 kingdoms (Silla dynasty)and Joseon era historical sites. Plan and timing for each stop of the tour is perfect. My English tour guide, Azure, is informative and friendly. Highly recommend the tour!

Had a great day exploring Gyeongju! It had a good balance of exploring the old town and the new city. Our tour guide Kayla Kim did a wonderful job of keeping us entertained and being our photographer!!

Rosey and Kari both did a good job. Rosey is friendly, helpful and share many information to us. A bit rush but still okey since we have to visit many attractions. Anyway, the trip is memorable and suitable for us to just have a quick visit.
