Set Lunch and Dinner at The Deck by Arun Residence Bangkok | Thailand

For the food itself, personally not really recommend it. But for the view during sunset time and night time is amazing. By booking through KKDAY, you don’t have to book yourself by phone which is so easy for tourist outside of the country!

The view of Wat Arun is unbeatable. The seat was arranged by the window, so I could see the whole view of Wat Arun. I took a lot of beautiful photos. It’s a pity that there was a serious traffic jam in Bangkok and I couldn’t arrive before sunset and missed the sunset. I suggest that friends who want to come can leave earlier to avoid missing it!

I was a little worried after reading the reviews, but that wasn't the case at all!! We were shown to the best seats on the terrace on the 4th floor. We ordered a course meal, but the food didn't come out all at once. Instead, the appetizer and soup, main course, and dessert were served at appropriate times. All the food was delicious. The staff were also friendly and we didn't feel sick at all. We entered the restaurant at 6pm, and were able to see the night view change as it got dark, which was a great experience!!

The food and service were excellent. They took lots of photos for us.

We also went up to the 4th floor and were allowed to take photos, so we were able to take lots of great ones*.(*´͈ ˘ `͈*).*

The view is really amazing! It's a luxurious moment where you can look at Wat Arun forever. The food is Tom Yum Goong, a garlic appetizer, and you can choose from three main dishes. The dessert was delicious with mango and coconut ice cream. Alcohol is charged separately. The service was also great, and they asked if they wanted to take a photo for me even though I didn't ask! I'm glad I made a reservation.

It was the best place to see the sunset and the illuminated Wat Arun up close.

We weren't seated by the window, but we had a great view of Wat Arun even without the windows. We made a dinner reservation from 18:00 to 20:00 and enjoyed the sunset and the light-up of Wat Arun. The food and cocktails were delicious.

The Deck is the 4th and 5th floors of a restaurant called Arun Residence. My reservation was confirmed at the entrance on the 1st floor, and when I showed my KKday voucher, I was told to go up to the 4th floor. As I arrived just in time for my 6pm reservation, the seat I was given was the furthest from the riverside, but beyond the seats I could see the beautiful sunset-covered Wat Arun. Just at the climax of the day, the restaurant staff called out to me to take photos on the 5th floor, one floor up, so I followed them and went up the spiral staircase inside the restaurant, where many tourists were trying to take photos of Wat Arun with their smartphone cameras. When I returned to the 4th floor, I was able to take photos without any problems around the seats on the riverside, so I took a few there. After that, when the sun went down, I could see the illuminated Wat Arun. So I got up from my seat again and took a few photos from behind the seats on the riverside. I also took a few photos from the outside stairs, so it was a photo shoot. The meal course was specified in advance by the voucher, so there was no need to choose between salad topped with sausage and tom yum goong, and I chose one dish from curry, fried crab, and one other dish for the main course. Drinks were not included in the voucher, so I only paid for the drinks when I paid. I also finished off the dessert plate with mango and ice cream, and enjoyed the night view a little more while drinking whiskey soda and admiring Wat Arun.

I arrived before the reservation time, but was immediately guided to the 4th floor. The view was amazing, right opposite Wat Arun. As the sun set, the lit-up Wat Arun was fantastic. The food was also easy to eat.
