I arrived at Terminal 1. I checked my luggage at Terminal 1, but it's far from the arrival lobby and not well-known, so no one knew where to look. It ended up being located behind the MRT Toyonaka Airport Express station, next to a convenience store. It's completely invisible from the station concourse. I made three trips between the terminal and the MRT station. While I could use a trolley from the terminal to the elevator on the second basement floor, it was quite a challenge to carry my three suitcases to the MRT station. Since my departure was from Terminal 2, I picked up my luggage at Terminal 1, then carried my three suitcases to the terminal without a trolley, and then took the trolley to Terminal 2. I was able to travel from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 by Skytrain (free), but the information said the trolley couldn't be used on the train (though there was a trolley station inside), so I carried my three suitcases to Terminal 2 by myself. Note that you'll need to pick up your luggage at the same location where you left it. The service fee is very reasonable, which is a great help. (Coin lockers are limited to 3 hours, after which the price increases and it is expensive to store luggage for a whole day) I travelled from Japan to another country via Taipei (staying for 3 days), so it was really convenient.
