I had this museum on my bucket list ever since I was a kid, and now that I have finally gone, I can say it was totally worth the trip. I planned my trip to Osaka around going to this museum specifically, and the day was really special for me. I got to walk through the timeline of Tezuka's life and his works. There was a library to read his works in a variety of languages, and a computer with a lot of information, games, photos, and even episodes of the various series. There's an animation class on the bottom floor, which was a lot of fun. Just next to the class there's a screen with various robots to mimic your movements, and they each have a special animation if you manage the correct pose. The gift shop has a variety of items, including mugs, plushies, prints, manga, engraveable keychains, and more. There's also lots to do in Takarazuka for after the museum closes, which is at 5

You can see Osamu Tezuka's life, comics work and the year the works were produced, as well as his works as a child. There are many protagonist figures that you can take photos with. It’s a fun 2 hours and you can also buy souvenirs.

I really liked the place and would be coming back, but museum staff could not read the QR code so there were some delays during entry. They were saying that maybe QR code system was under maintenance on Sept 15, 2024. Eventually staff let me in and I really enjoyed the place. I would likely revisit this place in the future but I would probably just buy the tickets at the venue rather than through KKday.
