It's so convenient to start your trip from Daegu. Our guide, Mr. Kim, confirmed our hotel address early and picked us up directly, saving us time traveling to the meeting point. Mr. Kim speaks a little Chinese, so we used Papago for the more challenging sections. The itinerary wasn't rushed, and listening to his explanations allowed us to gain a deeper understanding of the historical sites. Mr. Kim also recommended many Korean delicacies. Besides having a great time on this day trip to Gyeongju, we also got to know the local culture of Daegu better.

You can learn about the history and culture of the Silla period, wear Silla Hanbok for free, and experience local specialties. There are many prayer stones in Bulguksa Temple that are stacked by tourists.

The tour guide was very enthusiastic and attentive, and the itinerary was very flexible. In addition to sending you to your accommodation on the way back, he also cared about what you wanted to eat for dinner, and would recommend local delicacies and drive you there. This time I accidentally chartered a car to go to Gyeongju. I originally just wanted to have a relaxing trip, but the whole trip turned out to be more exciting than I imagined. Kim Tae-gyu is a tour guide, driver, photographer and food expert. He is patient and enthusiastic. It was a bit awkward at the beginning, but it was soon broken and we got along easily. He also took us and taught us how to eat local delicacies, such as teppanyaki grilled pork rice, Korean pancakes, and traditional wine. Everything was really delicious. I think it’s different to have a tour guide. The food we ate was very authentic and not disappointing. We encountered a rainy day, but the tour guide was very smart in adjusting the itinerary and recommending places to visit, which left a very deep impression on us. The elders also had a lot of fun. All in all, I had a lot of fun on this trip. I would definitely like to come back during the cherry blossom season, maple leaf season, or when it snows. I will definitely appoint this tour guide again! ! I'm too shy to post photos with people.
