[Jiufen Tea House Recommendation] Skyline Tea House in Jiufen, New Taipei | Enjoy Afternoon Tea with Scenic Mountain City Views

Although I didn't request a seat, they gave me a terrace seat so I could drink tea while looking out at Amei Tea House. My reservation was for 3:30 PM, but I was able to stay until the lanterns were lit, which was great. (I think the normal time is one hour, but it depends on how busy it is. The person sitting next to me arrived two hours before their reservation, but they were shown away.) If you're going to Jiufen, this is a restaurant you should definitely make a reservation for.

Unfortunately, the weather was a little bad when we visited, but I'm still glad we went. It's best to make a reservation!

Since I had made a reservation, I was given a good seat at the very end of the balcony, which allowed me to take some great photos. Just show the voucher to the staff at the entrance and they'll guide you through everything smoothly.

A typhoon was coming, so we sadly had to give up on flying lanterns in Shifen. 😭 The trains were stopped and we couldn't get there. However, we had made a reservation for tea in Jiufen, so we arrived earlier than scheduled. Despite that, we were able to move up the time. 😍 At first, we couldn't see the view because of the wind and clouds, but miraculously, the sun came out. ✨ They kindly taught us how to make delicious tea, and we enjoyed it with sweets. Thanks to the typhoon, we were able to experience Jiufen in the rain, and it became a great memory. ☺️ My son said the peanuts he got were delicious, so much so that he went to ask if they were sold in stores. 😂 They were really tasty. 💕 Next time, we'll try flying lanterns again!

The day was stormy and windy, so we ended our sightseeing much earlier than our reservation time and visited Haiyue Sakura Landscape Tea House. They were so accommodating, even though it was before our reservation time, and we were very grateful. Because of the weather, we couldn't go out to the terrace seats, but they guided us to the best seats inside, and we were able to take some great photos. The Taiwanese tea experience was also great!

I decided to participate in the tea ceremony experience if I was going to Jiufen. It was a Saturday, so it was crowded, and the only available time slot was from 7:30 PM. I arrived a little early, just after 7 PM, but I was able to get in smoothly and was shown to a terrace seat with a great view, so I was able to enjoy the evening Jiufen. While I was having tea, a sudden heavy rain fell, but the staff were kind enough to move the terrace seat a little inward to keep me dry. The slightly unusual way of brewing tea was interesting, and it was a great experience.

Reservations for the 5pm slot were fully booked, so we visited at 4:30pm. At first, the terrace seats were full, so we were shown inside the restaurant, but once a seat became available, we were able to move there. As the sun set while enjoying delicious tea and sweets, the Amei Tea House diagonally opposite and the lanterns of the town shone, creating a truly beautiful scene. While the power lines were visible from the terrace, we were told it would be nice to take photos at the entrance on our way out, so we were able to take some lovely ones. By the time we left, there was a line outside, so we were glad we were able to make a reservation from within Japan. We would like to visit again if we have the opportunity.

I was guided to the seat with the best view and everyone was so kind, I was very satisfied (^.^)! The hospitality was beyond my expectations and I was very, very satisfied!! I'm glad I chose Kaiyuerou Sabo!

I had a wonderful time exploring the streets of Jiufen during less crowded times. It was very beautiful.

I made a reservation a month or two in advance, so I was able to get the best seats and enjoy the night view of Amei Tea House. The waiter was playful and funny.
