A great experience being once a Samurai and having a Katana in my hands and being dressed as a real Samurai. I can recommend this very much.

I never imagined I'd be able to try on armor in such a magnificent castle. The armor was a little heavy, but it was really cool. The staff explained everything to me carefully. I was able to take lots of great photos. Thank you!

It was a lot of fun! It was great to be able to try on authentic armor and wander around the castle freely.

After seeing Shogun, which won 18 Emmy Awards, I couldn't help but head to Morioka Castle to try on armor and a Japanese sword. First, I was amazed by the overwhelming scale of Morioka Castle and the gorgeous Japanese-style rooms. After a detailed lecture on how to swing a Japanese sword from a teacher, I finally put on the armor. It took about 5 minutes to put it on and I was photographed while walking around Morioka Castle. Various poses and locations were suggested. Taking photos in real Japanese architecture made me feel like I had flown into the world of Shogun. I received the digital version of the photos on the day! It became a very fond memory.
