[From Seoul] Hwaseong Fortress / Gwangmyeong Cave / Korean Folk Village / Suwon Starfield Library Tour

Hassle free way to explore Suwon and Yongin area. The ride was comfortable and we learnt about the history of heading fortress. The guide Daniel also introduced different aspects of Korean culture and treated us to hotteok at the market. All 4 places that we visited are great. Would recommend!

The Starry Sky Library was quite shocking when I saw it for the first time. It was spectacular. I saw a lot of ginseng being sold in the market. It felt like ginseng was a very common Chinese medicine. Gwangmyeong Cave was a former mine pit, where the shrimps were preserved. But what surprised me was that it was a robot fish. This time it was a small group of 9 people (including the tour guide), very customized (like). The tour guide Steven drove steadily, explained the history of Hwaseong in Chinese, and helped my family take photos. Thank you for a great trip.

Due to the itinerary, we can only choose option B: Starfield Library and Hwaseong Fortress are worth visiting, but unfortunately we can't walk through Hwaseong Fortress (the tour guide said it would take 3 hours) and go to the vinyl record cafe next to the library due to limited time. Don't forget to visit the dog garden on the rooftop of Starfield Library. The traditional South Gate Market is OK, and the two performances in the Folk Village at the Wanxiang Tower 👍👍 and the open-air performance venue are great, don't miss it. (I would also like to go to Gwangmyeong Cave to explore if I have a chance) The tour guide and driver Steven provided considerate service (1. Punctual! 2. Answered all questions with a good attitude, and could communicate in Chinese, English, and Korean. 3. Helped to watch out for oncoming cars and guide people to cross the road when getting off the car. 4. In addition to guiding, he also helped to take photos (the tour guide also had to drive and needed time to rest, so he could understand that he didn't have a full tour. 5. Safe driving! In addition to pointing out the attractions at the right time, a recording of the attractions introduction prepared in advance would be played during driving. 6. Adjusted the temperature and intensity of the air conditioning in the car at the right time. 7. They also prepared refreshing candies and medicinal fruits for us. 8. The car was new and clean.) In the future, I will choose KKday for self-guided travel, which saves us a lot of time walking around various subway lines, climbing stairs, and being confused by Hanchao or Google map.

The tour guide was very attentive and bought Yakult for everyone to drink. The trip was very smooth and the weather was perfect!

In addition to shopping in Seoul, this tour is good if you want to have a sightseeing trip. It's rare to have a leader who can understand Chinese, so it's easier to communicate.

Overall, the trip was very relaxing and comfortable. The tour guide gave us plenty of free time to explore. The Starfield Department Store's Starry Sky Library was a beautiful photo spot. The lunch was also delicious. Although we were unable to visit all the stores due to limited time, it was a pity to leave this place with nostalgia. I look forward to visiting again next time! Although it rained, the exploration of Gwangmyeong Cave was an unforgettable experience. Although climbing the stairs required physical strength, it is recommended that a rest area be planned in the future. This adventure in the rain allowed us to see different scenery and is a very special memory!

The tour guide Steven was very nice and professional. We had to walk and climb stairs to Suwon Hwaseong Fortress and Gwangmyeong Caves, and it was great to have him accompany us. There happened to be single ladies in our group, and we had a lot of fun together. Steven also helped us take beautiful photos! The happiest thing was going to the Starry Sky Library. That mall is a great place for shopping, fun and cheap!

We were able to efficiently visit the main spots in Suwon, and had enough time to enjoy each one. Gwangmyeong Cave, which I had never heard of, was particularly beautiful, with illuminations and projection mapping, even though it was like a maze. It was a fun tour that showed the guide's thoughtfulness.
