The high-speed ferry was a great experience! I'm so glad I chose it from the start; it only takes a little over an hour. I took a nap and woke up at my destination. It saves a lot of time for round trips between Niigata and Sado. If you're planning a trip to Sado, definitely prioritize the high-speed ferry.

It was so comfortable with a reserved seat. I slept for a bit after boarding and then we arrived – it was very pleasant.

The boat isn't very big! I initially thought it would be quite wobbly! But once the boat accelerates, it's actually very comfortable!

It was my family's first trip to Sado. We boarded the jetfoil from Niigata Port, and the crew were so kind, it was a great start to the trip. Everyone in the family was happy that it was a good memory, and it looks like our annual trip to Sado will become a regular thing in our household.
