Kyushu Takachiho Day Tour | Takachiho Canyon Cruise, Takachiho Train, Mount Aso, and Kusasenri (Departing from Kumamoto)

Sun Peng, our tour guide, was excellent. With such a large group and such a tight schedule, he still managed to ensure everyone had a comfortable experience throughout the entire tour. I saw everything I wanted to see and was very happy! Thank you again, Tour Guide Sun!

Our tour guide, Sister Xiaoyu, provided excellent commentary, constantly introducing the various mountains and their history throughout the trip, making the journey more educational. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great; the wind was too strong when we reached Kusachiri, giving me a headache (April 17th). The weather was also overcast when we reached Takachiho, so I couldn't take any beautiful photos.

Our guide, Mr. Sun, gave a lively, interesting, and detailed presentation. Thank you for taking our photos. It was a wonderful experience to go boating in Takachiho; Kusanagi is beautiful, this is my second time here, and even an hour wasn't enough to see everything. A very enjoyable day trip!

This itinerary included Mount Aso (though the Nakadake crater was closed to visitors and could only be viewed from afar), Kusasenri Beach, Kamishimi Kumanozha Shrine, and Takachiho Gorge. Although the time was tight, our guide, Kong Yan, managed it well, ensuring we had a great time. Furthermore, the bilingual (Chinese and English) explanations of the sights were thorough. These attractions are quite spread out, so this day trip is highly recommended.

The weather was bad, with constant rain, but thankfully we had a perfect tour guide who provided excellent information about the scenery and recommended delicious food and souvenirs, ensuring the trip wasn't ruined by the weather.

The local tour guide was fantastic—humorous, witty, and insightful. He explained Kumamoto's past and present in a humorous yet easy-to-understand way. His tour-leading style was impressive; he didn't pressure tourists to buy anything and even advised against certain foods, leaving a lasting impression on my family.

Although the weather was bad yesterday, we had a wonderfully cheerful tour guide who brought us a lot of joy. Thank you, Sun Sang!

This day trip included train and boat tours to Aso, Kusanagi, and Takachiho. Each attraction had a dedicated guide who provided detailed explanations of its history and attractions, even outlining which souvenirs to buy. The soft serve ice cream in the Aso area was incredibly rich and delicious. Since the crater was closed, we opted for the Kamishimi Kumanozha shrine instead, which was very tranquil. However, the steep shrine and Takachiho Gorge were a bit challenging due to the rain, so it's advisable to bring a raincoat or hiking poles if needed. I'm very grateful to the wonderful guide and driver throughout the trip; I had a fantastic time.

Although the weather wasn't great and we didn't get to see Mount Aso or the vast grasslands, our tour guide still did his best to make sure we didn't have any regrets. His professional explanations, sharing, and fun interactions were fantastic!

A fantastic experience; I highly recommend going boating. A truly unique experience.
