The journey from downtown Shanghai to Legoland is nearly 80 kilometers, requiring a train and bus transfer. A ride-hailing service will cost around 200 RMB. I bought a round-trip ticket from kkday, which was quite good. The 7-seater car was clean and stocked with mineral water. Although the meeting time was a bit early, the driver drove smoothly, allowing me to catch up on some sleep. After going through security at Legoland, I went directly to the ticket gate and used my Taiwan Compatriots ID card to enter the park. Strollers are available for rent for children, which is very convenient. Having visited four Legoland parks in Asia, the best feature of the park is the central Miniland, which offers excellent cooling and shelter from the sun. Side entrances lead to various areas. I went on a Saturday in late August during the summer vacation. The crowds were average, and the wait times for attractions lasted about 30 minutes to an hour. Many areas lacked fans or air conditioning, which was a significant issue. They should install more water misting systems. Shanghai is quite hot, so stay hydrated and bring a small fan to avoid heatstroke. The staff were very enthusiastic during the meet-and-greet event, and we were able to interact, chat, and hug the dolls. Finally, it was time to shop. The LEGO store does not offer tax refunds!!! I wish you all a happy time~

Impressed with the car that took us there, it was a nice sedan. Lego was also impressive.

I had a blast with my kids at LEGOLAND® Shanghai Resort! The limited-time KKday promotion was a great deal, with 35% off tickets and a free round-trip shuttle bus, saving me the hassle of arranging transportation. The park boasts a wealth of facilities, from thrilling rides to intricate LEGO models, with surprises around every corner. My kids loved Mini World, where the LEGO-built Shanghai landmarks were incredibly realistic and captivating even adults! The park's well-organized circulation kept lines manageable, even on weekends when crowds were high. The friendly staff and the interactive experiences throughout made the experience even more enjoyable. The dining options are diverse, and while a bit pricey, the LEGO-themed dishes are adorable and photogenic. Overall, this is a great place for families and LEGO fans, and my kids are already clamoring to visit again!

It just opened in July of this year, so there's not much information online. I visited Shanghai Legoland on July 18th (I visited the Legoland in Malaysia in 2024, but it was smaller). Shanghai Legoland is huge, and not as crowded as Disneyland! It's very family-friendly, and I brought my three-year-old with me, and we had a blast. There's a water play area (bring a swimsuit) and one land-based attraction (a jet ski). The water can splash on your feet, so sandals are recommended. Since Shanghai Legoland is quite a distance from the city center, I hired a car to get there and back (the drive takes an hour and a half). Feel free to ask me any questions 🥳 (Instagram: llyiyim)

There is a direct bus, which is very convenient and appropriate, and the time is suitable 👍, so that you can take your children to this park.

1. The shuttle bus pick-up point is at Shanghai People's Square Station, close to the city center, which is convenient and saves fares. It's very considerate. 2. There are many restaurants outside the park, one more choice. 3. The park is not as crowded as expected. The average waiting time for each game is about 5 to 20 minutes, which is smooth. 4. All food and drinks in the park are half-price until the end of August.

Very fun, very big, good food, especially Lego popsicles. Different experience from Legoland, for example, you can take a boat to tour the park, and a very large indoor mini land (you can enjoy air conditioning).

The park is large and new, and the staff are proactive and friendly. It wasn't very crowded. Perhaps because it's new, the prices are actually quite high, but each park offers children the opportunity to play with Lego, which is actually better than just the rides.

Maybe it's a new relationship, the whole game almost does not have to wait, all directly to play ~ ~ and before the end of August food is half price, so very affordable! Unfortunately, the place is very far away, I call the car to two hundred dollars and a whole hour to enter, you can almost not take the bus or subway to go!
