We were seated in a private room. Although we had some language difficulties, the good attitude was more important than anything else. My friend who was traveling with me didn't eat sashimi and they even changed the menu attentively. We also had enough space to enjoy each dish. It was very comfortable overall.

I ordered a kaiseki lunch and the restaurant was not hard to find (I used Amap). The chef prepares the dishes right in front of the guests. Although the portion of each dish may not seem large, you will still feel very full after enjoying all of them. There were other Japanese people enjoying the same set at the scene. Unfortunately, I don't understand Japanese and couldn't communicate with the chef. For the price, it is great value. But you need to prepare two hours for lunch.

I was a little hesitant before booking because the environment and food were not very attractive after seeing the photos. In the end, I decided to book it because of the good reviews online and the affordable price. After arriving at the restaurant (although the location was a bit hard to find), I found that the environment was much better than the photos, and the food quality was excellent! Although the chefs' English was not very good, they still tried their best to introduce the ingredients to us and were very attentive. The whole dining experience was great!

It was my first time to eat real Kaiseki cuisine, and it was amazing! Every time the dishes were served, different utensils were used, and every detail was taken care of! And the lunch price was not very expensive, I personally recommend it~

The amazing dishes and the chef's professional, friendly and attentive service will make you want to experience it again when you visit Kyoto in the future.

If you have the time and budget to spare, it is highly recommended to try it out.

It is located next to Hanamikoji with convenient transportation and is easy to reach. The presentation is very ingenious and the taste is great. I originally thought I would not be full, but in the end I couldn't walk anymore. It's a pity that I can't chat more with Master because I don't speak Japanese. There are about eight seats in the store and reservations are required. It's worth a try.

The food is exquisite and the chef cooks it with care. It is recommended to play some background music to make the dining process warmer.
