Classes are in Chinese. Within 1 hr, you'll finish throwing 2 pieces which can be engraved or a handle attached. You'll at least get the basics of wheel handling, basic clay forming techniques using your hand. The instructors will help you if you're struggling. They can also help improve your work to secure you have an output after the session. The items will be labeled right after you choose the glaze. It's a fun activity. If you want intensive classes, this is not it. This is really a quick workshop. Final item will be ready in 90 days and shipped to your address. preferably, Taiwan address

We both really enjoyed the pottery-making experience. It was well-organised and everything we had to do clearly explained. Working the clay on the wheel was a lot of fun and felt very relaxing, and there were also always teachers on hand to help. We were then given plenty of time to decorate our designs. We liked that in addition to the two pieces that were included we could add more if we wanted to. The process for arranging postage was simple too. Recommended!

It's really an amazing experience to enjoy with friends or family. The teachers help us a lot when we find difficulties.

My husband and I joined this class not knowing Chinese, but the staff did their best to assist us in English. The YouTube videos we watched were in Chinese, but we could figure out what we were expected to do. It will be helpful if subtitles could be added in these videos. We are looking forward to receiving our finished products in a few months!

Shu is the nicest place to do a pottery class. Very well organized! Staff can also speak in english well. Must try while in Yingge!!!!

The pottery DIY class was very generous with their raw clay material so we could use as much as we wanted. The teachers were all very nice and they will make sure we have a finished product to bring home even if we don’t do well in ceramic shaping process. Would go again.

Patient teacher and this event is definitely the highlight of our family trip. Highly recommended!
