Kuo Yuan Ye Pastry Museum Tour & Pastry DIY - Taipei

Great place to visit! My kids had a wonderful experience making the pineapple cake, tasting the pastry with green tea, getting to know the historical traditional culture of Taiwan, the crew made the whole two hours very fun, rewarding, and tasty!! The tickets even included a coupon for you to redeem at the Kuo Yuan Ye store (we were able to redeem a few packs of yummy cookies for free!). Highly recommended!

We didn't expect to have so much fun but we did! The pineapple cakes turned out great and we really enjoyed the rest of the museum as well.

The chef are very passionate and patience on what they are guiding me on the pineapple tart from scratch. I had enjoy baking pineapple tart from scratch and I had enjoy it

One of the best experiences in taipei! Went with my family, all of us 45+ years old and my parents are in their mid-70’s. Had an amazing time and even brought my own gluten free flour to make gluten free pineapple cakes!! It was a delicious and fun time. Highly recommend for any group for a unique and tasty experience!!

Making pineapple cakes is a fun experience and the resulting pineapple cakes are genuinely tasty. The cakes have a very buttery, shortcake like outer and the interior pineapple filling has little chunks of pineapple. Making the cakes is a lot of fun and engaging for the full 2 hours plus visiting the small museum upstairs. It can take some strength to mix the dough. The final result is also very nice as they show you how to individually wrap them and give you a nice box making the whole package very presentable. My only complaint is how quickly it goes. Sometimes it felt a little bit rushed that you should have more time to finish each step of the process.
