The Itinerary was well planned. The route and travel distance from place to place was just nice, with brief breaks on the cab for rest. It’s a good mix of waking down old streets with yummy local snacks and specialities, DIY activities to do if you would like to, some sight-seeing. Highly recommended! A special shout out to our Driver Guide, Mr Shi Bo Wen (Kelvin), he is patient and gentle in his sharing. It was enriching and knowledgeable of local cultures and shared readily throughout our journey. When there were no butterflies at the valley, he offered to bring us to a sightseeing sight in his pocket list where we were able to take in all the sights of meinong from a high point. Also brought us to a local breakfast place. We were able to travel at our own pace, and he was always ready nearby! The Taiwanese people have been very kind, warm and gentle. Thank you Kevin, 博文大哥！☺️

They took us to various tourist spots, and showed us places we couldn't go to on our own. It was a very satisfying one-day trip, with experiences such as making rice and tea.

Qishan is pretty much like many other open/night markets in Kaohsiung, but Meinong is quite lovely. The kids can enjoy the workshops while adults learn about the history of Hakka culture. The red tomato here is excellent. If you wanna buy pastry/cakes as souvenir or just to try, you can also buy at the shops on this route. It’s much cheaper than elsewhere. Qishan and Meinong wouldn’t take you the whole day, so Tianlao Moonworld is also another stop you can consider. Although I opted for an English speaking driver, our driver doesn’t speak much English. But he tried so hard to be helpful, and he’s very caring. I speak a little Chinese so in general the day went well.

The driver has a good service attitude and the itinerary is well arranged. It is very suitable for a group of people to travel without thinking. The car is clean and tidy, and it is very comfortable to operate.
