Decided to just go to Jiufen as we aready joined a Jiufen-Shifen group tour years back. So glad we found this listing here! By 3:20pm, we met with the driver at Ximen Station Exit 5, then drove to a parking lot near Jiufen Old Street. Since no drop-offs were allowed near the entrance, we walked for a few minutes from the parking lot. No fuss booking. Assigned driver was easy to communicate with via Whatsapp.

We were assigned a taxi with 2 other tourists. Its a bit cramped but still ok. Its affordable and its quite a fast ride. About 40mins.

Took the same transfer last year. Safe and comfortable journey on 9 seater Mercedes.

This is a great value experience! As normal buses leaves at 6+pm, we got to spend more time in Jiu Fen exploring the place. Definitely recommend this to get a guaranteed seat in the bus~ The only thing to take note of would be that there is a 10 minutes walk to the bottom of Jiu fen where the coach parking is located. So lots of stairs down but an easy walk overall.

it was worth the extra money u pay compared to taking public bus or train back. no need to worry about catching bus or train. need to walk up and down many stairs to reach the bus tho’.
