Panglao Island Hopping Day Tour: Balicasag Island & Virgin Island Hopping and Dolphin Watching Budget Half-Day Tour | Bohol

Despite we started a bit late, our island hopping tour was truly awesome! Unfortunately for the Virgin Island, the tide was somewhat high that we weren't able to experience its long stretch of fine white sand bars lying on the shores, but what made this journey worth the fun is encountering large group of dolphins swimming, swirling, and gracefully galloping in clear blue waters!! We never seen such beautiful and amazing encounters like this!! It is truly a very memorable experience!!

This tour (and most of the tour in Bohol) is highly organized. They will pick you up in the hotel on time. During the tour, someone will always accompany you (boatman and snorkel buddy). Virgin Island is really beautiful and is my favorite. Balicasag is a bit crowded but still a good snorkel place. I just hope they stop chasing dolphin too closely. Suggest to skip dolphin chase :)

it was an amazing experience

I travelled with a friend. We’re both from Switzerland🇨🇭As two ladies, we felt safe the entire trip. We were picked up at Sea Breeze Cafe (Hennan Alona Hotel). On our way to Balicasag Island, we watched dolphins up close. Unforgettable. At 🏝 we rented snorkeling gear for PHP 150/person. As we wanted to have a souvenir of the experience, we paid PHP 1’200 to be filmed/taken pictures underwater with a GoPro. It was amazing to see fishes and a sea turtle up close. The included lunch was delicious. Then, we went to Virgin Island. Although it was submerged (knee-level) due to high-tide, it’s a unique experience to be walking on an island in the middle of the ocean (literally). I highly encourage to give tips to the guides and buy local souvenirs as they are just bouncing back from thepandemic. I would do this again. Thank you KK Day for your excellent client service. There were many dolphins,even thought the weather was not good. I also enjoyed snorkeling to watch turtles and beautiful corals in Pamilacan island.

This tour is the highlight of my entire 1 month vacation in Philippines.my husband and I booked 2 solo tour so that we could take turns to enjoy this while the other stayed at hotel to look after our baby. Both of us have seen dolphins and I was luckier! I saw probably 500 dolphins - large groups migrating and hunting! They also came to swim with our boat. It was amazing to see these incredible creatures so active and lively. My boatman was super patient - they let me watch and follow dolphins for an hour. The Pamilacan island was also great- happy to see turtles and the beautiful coral garden. Overall great trip!

There’s a lot of people seeing whale shark than I thought, but it’s very worth to go to swim with them. They’re very adorable and giant. The tour guides were very friendly and nice. After looking whale shark, we have our own place to take a shower and it’s very clean, so that we don’t need to wait a long queue to the toilet next to the beach. And then , the lunch is okay and not expensive. The old church and the waterfall are good to visit too. We do have a great day with KKday tour.
