definitely recommended if you are solo travelling. no need to think about the train and boat rides since the bus will take you directly to the lake. Dorothea was a wonderful guide and the thanks to Harry for driving us safely to Hallstatt and back to Vienna.

The weather is not good. However, the tourist guide is kind and knowledgeable. I would suggest that browsing weather website carefully before u book the ticket.

Harshtein is incredibly beautiful, but it's really, really far away. Our tour guide was amazing; he was incredibly knowledgeable about all sorts of history.
