Hard to go on your own to explore all the spots in Penghu if you don't join this kind of tour. I Such tour is helpful, you care free, just follow and enjoy. You dont get much info if you dont know Chinese as guides speak in Chinese. Beware weather is hot during summer :)

The guides are friendly and proficient with clear instructions given for a tour of the various islands with stops of the tour in Dongji Islet and Qimei Island. All guided in Mandarin. The Blue Hole is a sight at Xiji Islet with no disboarding but viewed from the boat. The waters here can get choppy. There are other islands/islets along the tour introduced from the boat. The tour ended with a feeding for sea terns attracting them near to the boat before the journey back to Magong. The boat is new and comfortable with both open-air and airconned sections. Came with a free redeemable cactus popsicle on Qimei island.

The tour guide Xiao Liu is really dedicated and knowledgeable, making this trip very fulfilling. The explanations were given without any hard work on the boat. The staff was also very considerate, telling me that there was a discount on the ticket price and allowing me to resell the ticket at the good price.

The day was well planned, the boat was comfortable, we stayed at each of the stops for the appropriate amount of time. The day was quite tiring because of how hot it was, but we enjoyed ourselves nonetheless!

When you come to Penghu, you have to jump to the island. The itinerary is very good. Every scenic spot is good, and the tour guide will explain it to us. There are also free cactus popsicles to eat.

I am an international student and can only speak Mandarin a little which limits me to travel alone. Since I have a business trip to Penghu and wanted to go see Chimei Island, I checked some arranged tours and came across this trip. I really enjoyed the tour and the staff made sure to remind me of the meeting time and provided the itineraries of the trip. Although it is hard to find their spot at the South Sea Visitor Center since everything is written in Chinese, it pays to ask some of the staff at the counters and they will direct you to the right persons. I joined alone but I didn't feel isolated because the tour guide made sure to assist me in everything I needed. He was also really kind to show me the best spot to take pictures and also took an effort to take some pictures of me. He would call me when I need to see something special. So I do recommend this trip even to foreigners...

We had a great experience! Everything was smooth, from check-in to disembarkation. Our tour guide was very informative and gave us ample information at the right times (for instance, letting us rest in between destinations). We also had sufficient time stopping at each of the destinations so that nothing felt rushed. The boat also had plenty of space and never felt crowded, while the crew was very warm, welcoming, and accommodating. Thank you!

The itinerary was well planned and the explanation was detailed. Unfortunately, we were unlucky enough to encounter a rainstorm and were unable to properly travel around Qimei Island. The service staff were very good and I will choose this itinerary again next time.
