Explore Wakayama Castle, a historic fortress, and stroll Nishinomaru Garden's (Momijidani Garden) serene pond (60 minutes, does not include castle tower visit fee)

Enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet lunch at ToreToreTei, or seafood set meal if the buffet is closed/booked up (60 minutes)

Visit the Toretore Fishing Market in Nanki Shirahama for fresh seafood (40 minutes)

Explore Sandanbeki Cliffs for stunning coastal views and natural beauty (40 minutes, the fee to Sandanbeki Cliffs is not included)

See Senjojiki for breathtaking coastal scenery and relaxation by the sea (20 minutes)

Enjoy Shirarahama Beach for its pristine sandy shores and azure waters (45 minutes)

Take a leisurely tour of Wakayama Castle, leave footprints on Shirahama Beach, look at the vast sea from the three sections of the wall, see the layers of Senjojiki, and look for the full moon rising on Full Moon Island

It is really nice to travel to these places in early fall. We really found the destinations very attractive and not too crowded. The time is well allocated and smooth. The lunch is quite good.

My family and I had a wonderful time exploring the various attractions from the majestic Wakayama Castle to the beautiful coastal scenery of Senjojiki, Sandanbi, Shirahama beach, and Engetsu Island. The lunch buffet was fantastic with a good spread of various Japanese delights. Our final stop at Toretore Fish Market was also a delightful experience, where we checked out various local produce like plums, mikan (tangerines) and other souvenirs. A big shoutout to our tour guide, Ms. Wang, who's experienced, patient, and took very good care of us, particularly my aged mother. Overall, a highly recommended trip that brings back a lot of great memories.
