There are many motorbike rental shops in Xiaoliuqiu, and choosing one can be a hassle, so having a shop pre-selected is a great convenience for foreigners. Buying it as a package with a ferry ticket is also a good deal and highly recommended.

I used this during a 2-night visit to Xiaoliugu. You can rent without a driver's license, and the rental location is convenient as it is close to the port.

Because I visit Taiwan frequently, I always carry an official Chinese translation of my driver's license. International drivers' licenses are not accepted in Taiwan. I presented the voucher and translation at the shop, signed it, and was able to rent a motorbike immediately. You should be able to get around with broken English and gestures, but be aware that most people only speak basic Chinese. The shop staff were kind, and the return process was smooth. I'll definitely use this service again if I visit Xiaoliuqiu.
