Green Island Asahi Hot Spring Tickets

The staff answered all my questions and even found my glasses in the dark which I couldn’t find myself. The wind was very very strong so don’t let your stuff on the side of the pool. It could be pushed in like mine was. Otherwise I found it interesting that you can go from pool to pool and change water temperature. You can even buy food to be cooked in the boiling water pond.

It's a great hot spring; it stays open late, so you can soak for a long time—it's very relaxing.

Swimsuits and swim caps are required; you can buy them inside if you don't have any. The pools have different temperatures, including a warmer indoor pool. Lockers are available for $10 each (think carefully about what you'll put in, otherwise you'll have to put it in again after locking it 🤣; I put in $20). There's a hot spring well on the beach with boiling water; you can cook eggs, shrimp, corn, etc., enjoying the sea view while eating – very convenient! You can also buy ingredients and bathing equipment inside the park. Full price is $250. I watched the sunrise. Some sections of Green Island are unlit at night, so be careful when cycling after soaking in the hot springs in the early morning or at night. After soaking, you can also go up the adjacent trail to a higher vantage point for panoramic views and photos of the sunrise hot springs 👍🏻

It's very convenient to buy and use on the same day; I hope the price can be more favorable.

The facilities themselves are a bit old, but soaking in the hot springs is quite comfortable. However, the food at the shop is sold in bags, which isn't very friendly to solo travelers.

There are many pools with different temperatures, both indoors and outdoors. Looking at the sky, listening to the sea, and feeling the breeze is so pleasant. It's a pity they're closed in the mornings during winter, so you can't watch the sunrise. 🌅 Not only are the hot springs beautiful, but you can also take a walk on the hillside near the entrance in the morning. But be careful not to get blown away by the wind!

Go in the evening – first take a walk along the nearby trail to watch the sunset, then soak in the seawater pool after the sun goes down. You can see beautiful moonlight and it's a very unique experience.

Although our itinerary was changed to a quick trip to Green Island due to Typhoon Yangliu, the fact that Asahi Onsen was open in the morning and we could see the sunrise was really exciting and fun! The staff were also very friendly, ensuring we were in a pleasant mood as we entered and exited! There are several pools with different temperatures to choose from. Perhaps because there weren't many early risers, we were able to enjoy the morning tranquility and the sunshine – it was incredibly relaxing and chill!!! I'll definitely visit again next time I'm in Green Island!

The motor broke down so we had the chance to experience it, it was fantastic and we want to go again.
