Many scenic spots in Hualien are closed to visitors, but for nature lovers looking for a relaxing outing, this is a great option. The routes are simple and not too difficult. Along the way, you'll see many different colored lizards, big and small, especially the small ones, which are quite cute! There are also some train engines for photo opportunities, and information about various tools used for transporting timber. Developing the mountains in the past was incredibly difficult, and many people sacrificed their lives – a moment of respect! It only took one or two hours to complete all three routes, haha!

Chinan Forest Recreation Area is definitely worth a visit! 🌲 Originally a logging site, it's now a forest recreation area where you can stroll and learn about forestry history. The trails are gentle and easy, with plenty of shade and fresh air, making for a comfortable walk. The park also features preserved timber processing equipment, which is quite unique and great for photo opportunities. It's a perfect half-day trip for a relaxing and educational experience. 👍

Go to Baibao Creek and Liyu Lake, you can stop by to play. The environment is a bit small and well maintained, but the train is out of service. If you want to have a picnic, the second floor has a good view, a water dispenser, air conditioning, tables and chairs
