I was able to catch the last day of the Serenity in Siam buffet on October 7th and it did not disappoint! We had to start with seafood which included oysters, king crab, lobster, etc. all of which tasted very fresh. The Thai themed dishes like beef salad, papaya salad, crispy pork, fish dishes, etc. all tasted authentic and delicious. However, I was surprised how the curry selection had Indian and Malaysian style curries instead of any Thai curries. The dessert section was also very diverse with Thai, Hong Kong, and western styled desserts including mango sticky rice, durian flavored cake, Portuguese egg tart, and bread pudding. The drinks selection is not too diverse but it had free flow champagne, white wine, and red wine, which was a big plus. Overall, I had a great experience with the stars being fresh seafood, authentic Thai dishes, and the durian flavored cake for me.

I recently dined at the W Hotel’s dinner buffet, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The standout feature of the buffet was undoubtedly the food. The lobster was particularly exceptional—cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. It was definitely the highlight of the meal! However, I did find the oysters to be a bit of a letdown. They lacked the freshness I was hoping for, which was disappointing given the high standards set by the other dishes. On a more positive note, the dessert selection was impressive. Each sweet treat was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, making for a satisfying end to the meal. I also appreciated the unlimited drinks and wine options, which added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. One of the seafood buffet restaurants to try in Hong Kong. This restaurant has Canadian crab (Dungeness crab) which is one of my favorite dishes. Fresh seafood. Friendly and enthusiastic staff. I will definitely come back.
