You don't have to go through the trouble of buying a boat ticket or finding the bus to the right destination.

All are fine, but finding the yellow gate in Batangas port is not very easy.

The outbound journey was comfortable, but on the return journey, which involved a different shipping company, I was crammed into the front cabin of the basement, which was very uncomfortable. I should have been in the same class of cabin both ways, so it wasn't a pleasant experience. Aside from that, everything else was great.

The return trip required a bit more caution than the journey there. The ferry arrived in Batangas later than expected, and fearing the bus wouldn't wait, I moved quickly as soon as I disembarked, barely having time to use the restroom or grab a bite. Locals asked if I was from Taiwan and offered to help with my luggage, which I declined (it wasn't really necessary; the parking lot opposite the 7-Eleven was easy to find). They even switched hands, and after learning I was from Taiwan, they said they wanted a "tip." I offered 50 pesos, but they complained about having two people, so I gave them 100 pesos and told them to split it themselves. Later, I saw a Korean man refusing to give a tip, leading to an argument. (The man in red)

Is this tour operated by a hotel in Manila? It's a round-trip tour. When you check in in Manila, you do so at the tour desk in your hotel. Once you enter Batangas Port, you'll need to pay a port fee. It cost 60 pesos in cash. Then, when you arrive in Puerto Galera, you'll be charged an island entry tax, which is 120 pesos in cash. Since you'll be traveling by tricycle in Puerto Galera, you'll need to pay in cash. On the way back, you'll check in at the tour desk on the street in front of the port in Puerto Galera. Then, pay the 10 peso port fee and head to the terminal. From the exit of Batangas Port, head to the parking lot where the bus is waiting. There will be people at the airport exit yelling the tour name and wanting to carry your luggage, so ignore them. They'll ask for a tip, but it's not part of the tour.

Luckily, I bought a package ticket, and there were people guiding me along the way, so I wasn't afraid of getting lost.

The Seacat Bus reception counter is located next to the front desk of the City State Tower Hotel. Bus seats are unreserved, so if you're traveling as a group, please register at 8:30 AM when reception opens to reserve a seat on the bus parked in front of the hotel. Departure is at 9:30 AM, so you'll have time to stop by 7-Eleven for some shopping. The journey to Batangas Port from departure is 2 hours and 30 minutes. After arriving at the port, your tour guide will lead you to the ferry company's ticket office. After receiving your boarding pass, you will disband. Boarding is at your own discretion. There are no shops or restaurants inside the boarding waiting area, so please eat or shop before entering. Please be sure not to be late for the ferry's departure time. The ferry ride takes 45 to 60 minutes.
