Similan Islands Day Trip with Speed Boat

The trip was well planned, fun with friendly and professional staff members. The water was clear and the weather was perfect. it is truly a paradise if you don't look closer. However, 2 reefs are only brown in color and only has a small amount of fish around. But given all the noise and people I would swim away too. Those colorful reef pictures aren't on this trip. Well, it isn't the company or staff fault. We are the 1 who polluted the planet to the point that it can't recover. The water is lukewarm like bathwater. That's definitely global warming. I was surprised how the reef still survived. All and all the trip is fun and eventful. if you wanted to dip into clear water for a change compared to every major beaches in Thailand, this tour is for you. But if you are looking for colorful reefs to take pictures with. you will be disappointed. Not bashing the trip, just saying what I saw.

We were satisfied from start to finish. The transport was perfect, a very hearty breakfast, lunch and dinner. The entire crew of the ship was perfect.

The trip was exciting, they took us to 4 islands. The guides were helpful, offered taking photos, provided us with drinks and snacks. However, the boat ride was pretty long and wilder (it shook much more) than expected, and some guests were throwing up unfortunately; it would have been even greater, if they were able to mention this caution beforehand.

It's not luxurious, but it includes breakfast and dinner, lunch, and snacks. A boat is prepared for each group, and a guide accompanies them. The guide was kind and friendly. They lent us a rubber band in the group's color, a basket bag of the same color containing a towel, a mat, and a snorkeling set, and it was an easy-to-understand system. When snorkeling, if you can't swim, the staff will pull you with a float that is provided, so you can enjoy it safely. The boat to the island is a high-speed boat, but the waves were high and it was very rocky on the day I participated. The impact was about magnitude 5 to 6, and it took just over an hour. I took motion sickness medicine and ate modest food. Please be careful if you get motion sickness.

Even if you are alone, the fantastic staff are cheerful, kind and considerate. They often talk to you. They give you drinks every time you return to the boat. The travel time is 3 hours by car and boat from Phuket, but I'm glad I came because the scenery is amazing. The boat was comfortable and didn't rock.

The itinerary includes pick-up and drop-off. It was my first time to participate in an island hopping trip and they provided breakfast, which was quite delicious. Then there was the boat ride, which was quite stable. It only took 1.5 hours to get to the Similan Stone, but we were sleeping during the journey, so it felt like we arrived quite quickly. Then there was snorkeling. There were really a lot of fish and the seabed was really beautiful. It was worth snorkeling there. There were two snorkeling spots. After snorkeling, we went to have lunch. Lunch was a simple buffet, but there were too many flies in the dining area, so we had no appetite. After lunch, we had an hour to rest on the island and watch the sea, and then we returned. At the gathering place, there were also snacks for us to enjoy before we got on the bus back to the hotel. On the way back, there seemed to be a traffic jam and a detour. The driver drove for 2 hours before arriving at the hotel, and it was already past 7 o'clock when we arrived. The whole trip was quite worth going, except that it took a little longer.

The event company Fantastic arranged it very well. The leader Nina was so cute and added a lot of points to the event.
