Day 1

8:00–8:30 am: Pick up at meeting point : No. 27 Cua Dong Street , Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi by shuttle bus

12:00 pm: Arrive at Tuan Chau International Marina. From here, a tender boat will transport you to the Halong Phoenix Cruiser. Enjoy a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival and proceed to check into your cabin

1:00 pm: Indulge in a set menu lunch served at the restaurant as you take in the stunning scenery. Sail amidst the numerous islands, passing Duck and Thumb islets en route to the Luon Cave area

3:00 pm: Stop at Luon Cave area for kayaking. Explore the beautiful lagoons

5:00 pm: As the sun sets over the bay, return to the cruise to unwind. Enjoy coffee, tea, and fruits on the sundeck, or request your preferred beverage as the boat cruises to its nighttime anchorage

7:00 pm: Savor a dinner featuring local seafood. Following your meal, you can opt to relax with a drink from the bar or on the top deck, or experience the activity of squid fishing

7:00–7:45 am: Wake up the next morning to embrace the picturesque landscape while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea. Have your breakfast al-fresco as you sail along the bay

8:00–9:00 am: Along with a tour guide, visit the remarkable Sung Sot Cave

9:00–9:30 am: Upon checking out of the cabin and settling your bill, the boat will commence its journey back to the harbor. During this time, you'll have the opportunity to observe other areas of the bay, including iconic spots like Fighting Cocks Island (a symbol of Halong Bay), Incense Burner, and Stone Dogs Island

10:30 am: Experience an onboard cooking demonstration that reveals the art of crafting authentic Vietnamese spring rolls. Gain insights into the recipes and techniques that bring this beloved Vietnamese dish to life

11:00 am: Lunch is served onboard

We enjoyed visiting Ha Long Bay and the food was good. Tour Guide Sea (Vien) at Phoenix Cruiser is a nice guy (but needs to charge his microphone and maybe just message timings instead of repeating) Day 1 was transport (see below), checkin, lunch, visit to Ti Top island beach/hike (nice views at hiking), kayaking at Luon Caves, teabreak and sunset party (we were a very chill quiet bunch) and squid fishing (none were caught in off-peak late Dec 2024). Day 2 was breakfast, checkout, visiting Sung Suot cave (pretty, BUT SO CROWDED, and you can get a free keychain), spring rolls wrapping session and back to Hanoi. Activities were fun but the transport there was a bit rough. We were at the very front, and it didn't have much leg space. Bus broke down but thankfully it was fixed fast and we skipped the pearl shop You can bring luggage but it's not recommended given small space in the cabin.

Everything went smoothly, including hotel pick up. Ha Long bay is amazing. Ship facilities and crew are pretty good too. Our guide Sea, spoke good English and was approachable.

The outlook of the cruise might not looks fancy like others but the hospitality were good enough. Room is clean and tidy. Heater provided.

We booked this trip in winter time so it's a higher price for this season. Mostly foreigners will enjoy this season in Halong bay, local people prefer to come here in summer time. The tour guide picked up us on time in the morning, we had a fun time in this cruise, food was good and the waiters were friendly. But when coming back to hanoi, we had a smaller bus to pick us up and the driver didn't drop us off in the hotel and said cars ate not allowed in this street, I still saw many cars there... and we had to walk a few minutes to go to the hotel. But it was OK

Tour guide Hung is very good. His English speaks very well and the explanations are very detailed. This was my first time to overnight on the cruise. The room is clean and tidy. Good experience.

Everything was well organised, starting from a pick up in Hanoi to the dropping back in front of your hotel. The ship may not be the most luxurious, but the staff's engagement left nothing to complain. There were plenty of food and reasonably priced drinks. The tour itinerary included the standard Ha Long Bay places, so be prepared for a crawd in most places. still though, with a little patience and a bit of luck, you can take amazing photos.

Of the many cruises available, I booked this one because it was reasonably priced yet well-packed, and it exceeded my expectations. We were picked up and dropped off on a medium-sized bus, had the same tour content as other cruises, and had meals where we shared a table, but we enjoyed interacting with other travelers, and all the food was filling and delicious. Even though I don't speak English, the guide was kind and easy to understand, and although the room wasn't new, it had air conditioning, a hot shower, and was clean. Best of all, the other tour participants on the ship were all well-mannered people from various countries, and they loved our 3-year-old child, so we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. (Participants: Australia, New Zealand, France, India, Brazil, Vietnam, Japan)
