Kimono Rental at okeiko Japan Miyajima | Hiroshima

The location was easy to reach, like 7 mins walk from the pier of heritage route boat from the peace park (45 min). We also bumped into some deers on our way to the shop. The staff was very kind and friendly. It was an interesting cultural experience to see how much detail of kimono dressing. It took around 20 mins to dress up, and the result was beautiful. Kids had fun as well. The decorations of the place are very easy to spend more than a half hour to take photos 🤣

You can choose the color of your kimono first, and then let the service staff help you get dressed. The ladies are very nice and gentle ❤️ Girls have softer clogs for fear of walking for too long, but boys only have wooden ones.

People here are nice and speak good English! A little pity that it doesn’t include hair dressing. But there te many hair accessories that you can use by yourself Recommend to book earlier then you can have more choose for kimono

The store is very friendly, and there are many styles of kimonos to choose from. Wearing traditional kimonos to the coast and Itsukushima Shrine is a very romantic experience, just in time for the cherry blossoms to bloom.
