[Taichung Pearl Milk Tea] Chun Shui Tang Pearl Milk Tea DIY Hand-Cooking Experience

We had fun making the bubble tea and instructor shared some interesting history of bubble tea. We were pleasantly surprised with the certificate and a free gift at the end of the workshop!

This was a fun experience. Learned a lot about the origins of bubble milk tea and how it’s done. Leo was a great teacher and made the experience very entertaining.

Strongly recommend to try this workshop. You will gain more background knowledge of the first bubble tea shop in Taiwan and know the ingredients in making a good bubble tea. Staff were friendly and engaging. Love the activity and interaction.

Do note the session is conducted in Mandarin. We were the only participants there so it felt like a private session. Interesting for the host to explain to us on the origin of bubble tea of chun shui tang and brought us through the process of mixing. Also do note that the tea and pearl were already prepared, so we only mainly did the mixing. A little expensive given the price, but interesting nonetheless. We enjoyed ourselves.

Well organised. An hour and allowed to relax at the table even after. We used the remaining ingredients to continue making more cups too. Friendly staff to explain history and demonstration. Delicious milk tea and lovely gift at the end. Recommended .

My children thoroughly enjoyed the bubble tea-making session. They not only had a great time but also gained insights into the history of bubble tea and learned the art of crafting this delightful beverage

The experience was great, instructor was passionate when explaining about the history of Chun Shui Tang and teaching us step by step. The group consisted of 30+ pax but instructor was still engaging. Whole session took about an hour and it was pleasant. We were glad to have included it in our trip.

It was mentioned that the class will not be in English but our instructor tried his best to speak in English and use Google Translate to help us catch up with the steps. He also tried to explain what the ingredients as informative as he is able. Do not expect to steep the tea or boil the pearls yourself. This class is only assembling the drink together. This was a group class but there was only the two of us in class so they let us take our time. Overall, it was a great experience, the staff were very friendly and the milk tea was delicious. You even get a gift at the end and they will let you take the milk tea to go/take away. They seem to want you to be surprised by the gift so I won't spoil you or I'll just let somebody else spill the tea.

The guide was very welcoming and taught us lots of interesting facts about bubble tea. Definitely recommend it to others!
