I love this experience as I never handmade pineapple cakes before. The tea experience was also very good as I learned to make tea for myself. All the tutors were very nice and explained every single steps clearly. Highly recommend!

I recently had the chance to try out the Pineapple Cake DIY and Tea Food Experience at the Sheng Hengchang Duty Free Neihu Flagship Store. It was an educational outing where I discovered something new about tea – all varieties come from the same plant, and it's the roasting duration that sets green apart from red. Quite interesting! The pineapple cake activity was straightforward, involving combining pre-prepared ingredients. It's a simple process, not particularly extraordinary, but enjoyable nonetheless. The cakes turned out to be quite tasty. For the affordable price, the experience was certainly worthwhile.

I arrived early and had a lot of time to spare, but they kindly accommodated me by 30 minutes earlier and even arranged a taxi to the hotel, so I'm really grateful 😊

We experienced rolling and shaping pineapple cakes, and then enjoyed Taiwanese tea while waiting for them to bake. Located in a corner of the souvenir section on the first floor of Ever Rich, we were given a thorough explanation in broken Japanese. The tea experience was particularly authentic, with us brewing and tasting three different types of tea leaves, from first-grade tea to third-grade tea (and they even let us brew fourth-grade tea if we wanted), and we were given plenty of tea snacks to sample as souvenirs. Afterwards, we were given four beautifully packaged, perfectly sweet pineapple cakes. It was a truly elegant and enriching experience. (You can also purchase souvenirs at a discount.) It's a little far from the station, so public transportation is about a 10-minute walk by bus. If you don't have a guide, taking a taxi might be a better option.

All the staff were very friendly and I had a wonderful time. The tea experience was also fun and delicious. Thank you very much.

My family of three visited. My daughter is in fifth grade. We made a pineapple cake at a table in a corner of the duty-free shop. The instructions were in Japanese and were thorough and easy to understand. Even children in the lower grades of elementary school would enjoy it. The tea tasting was also authentic and delicious. The shop was clean and the staff were all very kind, so we had a great time.

We took a taxi from the hotel. We made pineapple cakes in the duty-free shop, and the staff explained everything to us, so we were able to make our own! The finished product was wrapped up so nicely that it was almost a shame to eat it. While it was baking, we listened to an explanation about Chinese tea and sampled it. It's not often that you get to experience making something yourself, and it only took about an hour, so I recommend it.

We participated as a group of three who absolutely love pineapple cakes. Both the pineapple cake-making and the tea time were explained in a very professional manner, and we were able to gain a lot of knowledge while having fun. The pineapple cake instructor, the tea ceremony teacher, and the lady who was taking pictures—all three of them were warm and kind, making the entire experience pleasant from start to finish. It turned out to be an even better experience than we had imagined.

The staff were friendly and courteous. We arrived early and were treated to seats and snacks. We DIYed pineapple cakes. Since there were children participating, the sister was very patient in teaching and encouraging us. The children were happy to complete the task and felt a sense of success. I was deeply impressed by the art of tea. Each person was provided with a set of tableware and taught how to make tea. The elder brother taught step by step and the process was easy to master, even children could do it. The overall environment is comfortable and the staff are very polite. It is a very good experience.

I booked this place because the place where you can make authentic pineapple cakes is closed during the New Year holidays. The pineapple cake making itself is a simple experience, as you just put the filling between the already-made dough and put it into a mold, but the staff were kind, polite, and friendly, and their consideration was wonderful. I also enjoyed the tea experience. It was a soothing experience, thanks to the high level of hospitality of the Taiwanese people. The pineapple cake I took home was delicious, with a simple taste that you can only get from something that is handmade.
