Hassle free to pick up the tickets from the counter. There was a queue of around 5 pax, we were able to beat the queue given we’ve pre booked online.

My trip to Xiamen was a mixed bag. It felt like the island only had two types of people: locals desperately trying to make money and idiotic tourists. I was definitely one of the latter. As for the attractions, they were so-so.

In Taiwan, you can book your flight online in advance, and then skip the queue at the airport and check in directly, which is very convenient.

When the boat arrived at Shuitou Wharf, we immediately received a call from the shuttle staff. We went to the pick-up point, and they proactively helped us put our luggage in the back of the car. They then safely and quickly took us to Shangyi Airport.
