I was able to discuss the itinerary with him and once again he brought me to all the places that I wanted to visit, and even helped me to take photos along the way. This was a great way to see many sites quickly, especially if you cannot drive. The driver did a great job taking us to all the places he thought were the best in Taitung. He even helped us find a good lunch spot. The driver only spoke Chinese though, so it’s good to have someone in your group who can at least manage some basic communication in Chinese. My friends and I had a great time and would recommend other people to do this trip.

Unfortunately, it rained that day, so we couldn't go to the original itinerary. We changed it to the Prehistoric Museum instead. Thanks to our driver, Brother Zhang, he also took us to quickly buy famous local delicacies like Ahong Fried Chicken, Banyan Tree Rice Noodles, and Mubao Sang Tofu Pudding.

The driver explained things clearly, and the cooperation was pleasant. They will make the most suitable adjustments based on our needs.

We had different drivers for the two days, so I can't guarantee everyone would be professional. However, I highly recommend our driver and guide, Xiao Wei, for today's trip. He was polite, friendly, professional, and patient. He explained a lot about Taitung along the way and interacted with the passengers appropriately, making the entire trip very rewarding and showing his love for Taitung. He managed the time very well and timed his tours perfectly. In the afternoon, when we were tired, he reduced the interaction accordingly. I think he's an experienced and excellent guide, and I hope to have the opportunity to travel with him in Taitung again next time. My two elders praised his professionalism highly. The food he recommended was also delicious! I highly recommend the Longitudinal Valley Line tour we took today. There were some changes to the itinerary, but the driver was very professional, so everything went smoothly.

They were very thoughtful. When we encountered a torrential downpour while visiting attractions (the kind that soaks you to the bone), the driver proactively called to ask if we needed an umbrella from the car so we could finish our sightseeing. That was amazing!

A chartered car tour is perfect for family trips. The driver was funny and humorous, and most importantly, he was great at taking photos for us, allowing us to capture Taitung's most beautiful coastline. This time, we took the train from Tainan to Taitung, then chartered a car for a half-day tour of Taitung. If you're not staying overnight, this is a great option.
