Hoi An Ancient Town & Coconut Forest Basket Boat Tour with Night Market Visit and Boat Ride from Hoi An / Da Nang | Vietnam

We love this trip, children really enjoyed the coconut boat spin. Food served in reasonable quantities, only cons the food is quite oily. One thing should not forget to mention is tour guide Tin Tin is really good in knowledge of the ancient town of Hoi An & she’s really nice person. Lastly we would definitely will come back again.

Tour guides really took care of us well and are flexible to changes and our needs. We learnt much about Hoi An from them.

Our tour guide was TinTin. And she’s very nice and helpful. Telling us the rich history of Hoi An. Coconut basket tour was ok. But nicest was when releasing the lanterns! The tour guide brought us to the famous MOT drink too!

Shuttle bus arrived on time to fetch right at the door of our hotel. It is a nice and clean 16 seater shuttle. Tour guy is a cheerful lady named Tin Tin. We have elderly and kids in the big group and she did try her best to take care everyone, trying to understand each family’s background and have a good conversation with all groups. My kids love chatting with her. The tour included welcome drinks, coconut boat, Vietnamese meal as dinner + fresh coconut drink. Our travelling time falls on the Lunar new year and it’s packed in Hoi An, it would be good if Tin Tin could hold a flag so she can be easily spotted.

We signed up for a half-day tour of Hoi An. Since neither I nor anyone else is very good at English, we were guided by Kim, a Japanese-speaking guide, and it was the perfect choice! Despite the heat, she was diligent, honest, and attentive, and even took photos at various locations. We had a young child with us, and when he said he was tired, she volunteered to hold him, and by the end, he was very attached to her. My mother and aunt, who accompanied us, were also very satisfied. This half-day tour packed everything into Hoi An, including sightseeing in the center of Hoi An, a coconut boat ride, dinner, and a lantern boat ride, and we were able to fully enjoy Hoi An!

The guide was very nice. He gave thorough explanations that were easy to understand, and when my child needed to go to the bathroom during the tour, he took us to a nearby toilet, which was very helpful. In addition to showing us around the town, he was also very kind and helpful when we asked for recommendations on coffee. We were shown around various places, and at the end we were able to float lanterns, which was fun for both adults and children. Many of the guides were kind to children, so I think it would be a safe experience to bring children along.

This time we went to Hoi An during the off-season, so we were lucky not to join a group. The tour guide Tan Tan was very considerate and told me a lot of history of Hoi An. At night, the ancient town of Hoi An was very much like the movie Spirited Away 😂 The lanterns were very beautiful. The dinner arranged by this group was quite ordinary, but it was also nice to try the ordinary Vietnamese dinner.

I'm sure you're worried about going to Hoi An on your own, but this tour includes a hotel pick-up and drop-off. Kim (a Vietnamese person) who speaks Japanese will meet you in Hoi An and explain a lot about the history of Hoi An and Vietnam. This tour will take you around the main tourist attractions of Hoi An, and you can also ride a coconut boat (super fun), eat a Hoi An specialty dinner, stroll around the night market, and get on a boat to float the lanterns! The lantern float is not only on a limited day of the lunar calendar, but every day, so I recommend this tour. After searching around, this tour was the most fulfilling. I actually went and I'm glad I chose this tour. Kim will be there to guide you, so there's no need to worry. It was a hot day, so we stopped at a popular avocado coffee shop on the way. I definitely recommend you to participate in this tour♫ (I selected Japanese on the kkday application screen, but I was worried because it was finally in English, so I contacted kkday, but I didn't need to worry at all.) The coconut boat was scheduled at 4pm to avoid the hot weather. The tour guide Tin Tin took the initiative to help take photos. The photos she took were very professional and she also took care of the group members who needed it.

The itinerary was very good. The tour guide was also very enthusiastic and attentive.
