My friend and I truly had an amazing tour to Madura that was guided by Hreesang and Pak Iswahjudi! First and foremost, Vera was really forward-leaning and helpful by inquiring about our preferred language on the tour to better match a tour guide to us. During the tour, Hreesang provided detailed explanation about the background of each location and he was certainly very knowledgeable in Madurese history. The highlights of this trip were the batik-making experience with Tresna Art, guided by the ever-patient batik experts. Second, would be the conversations we shared with Hreesang and Pak Is, where we exchanged information on our own country’s culture, traditions and policies. Truly an insightful and delightful experience chatting with both of them! We would definitely recommend this tour to all who would want to go the off-beaten path and learn about Madurese history and culture.
