November 13, 2025, Fox Glacier Hike, New Zealand: This was an absolutely magical experience! First, we took a helicopter to the glacier, then a guide led us on a glacier hike. Luckily, the weather was great that day, and the first group set off smoothly at 7:50 AM. I was a little nervous at first, having never been in a helicopter before, but the pilot was actually very smooth, and I could enjoy the scenery from the window. The glacier hike was very moving. With a guide leading the way and people clearing ice along the way to help us climb steadily, the glacier was truly amazing – so icy, so blue, so beautiful! Its beauty is hard to describe in words. Besides the beauty, there was a deep sense of awe for nature, and a feeling of sadness rising as the glacier gradually disappears. I felt a profound sense of responsibility to protect nature; this feeling is a precious gift that I will cherish in my heart. 💕

The weather was great that day, and the guide was very welcoming and even gave instructions on posing for photos. It was definitely worth it.

Our session was at 7:50, and we had to meet at 7:30. I thought it would be cold, but it wasn't. Climbing up and down, I was sweating! 😂

The event was very safe, the staff explained everything very clearly, and they even provided warm clothing, shoes, socks, and a backpack – no need to bring your own! It was truly thoughtful.

I strongly recommend you to join the tour guide who will give you a very detailed introduction to various histories.

It was my first time taking a helicopter and hiking on a glacier. Fortunately, the weather was great and the trip went smoothly. It was a trip that was definitely worth experiencing!
