匈牙利國會大廈建於20世紀初，是匈牙利宏偉莊嚴的建築之一，也是布達佩斯的標誌，具有典型新哥特式風格。國會大廈有兩座用白石鏤空的高塔，內部隨處可見匈牙利歷史名人的肖像以及描繪匈牙利歷史事件的巨幅壁畫。外牆飾有雕塑，從匈牙利人定居時的七個首領到費爾迪納德五世為止，都是匈牙利歷史上的統治者、大公和軍事領袖人物。
