Day 1

English speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel (around the Old Quarter area).

09:00

Start two and a haft hours road journey to Quang Ninh Province via express way. Quick stop over for stretching your legs on the way.

11:45

Arrive to Ha Long Bay - Embark from Tuan Chau Marina onto Hercules cruise. A complimentary welcome drink will be served. The boat starts cruising.

12:30

Enjoy Buffet lunch with Vietnamese traditional food while cruising though thousands of limestone islands such as: Dog Rock, Insence Bunner and especially Fighting Cock – a symbol of Ha Long Bay.

13:30

Explore Sung Sot Cave - The longest, biggest and the most beautiful grotto of Ha Long Bay.

14:45

The boat will move to Luon Cave area - a water cave for kayaking or rowing bamboo boat or just stay on board for relaxing.

15:45

Visiting Titop island for swimming or hiking to the Titop peak for taking photos with panoramic view of the bay.

16:30

It is time for a rest after activities and capture the sunset on the bay. Complimentary Vietnamese tea, fresh juice, fruit, ang little cake will be served. Enjoy the return sail back.

17:45

Back to Ha Long harbor. Disembark to get on the bus, moving back Hanoi.

20:30

I chose to travel in September which is Rainy Season in Vietnam. But it’s pretty chill & relaxing on cruise. Our tour guide Tom explained well about the places, & communication is understandable. We enjoyed lunch & tea break too. They also serve vegetarian food. My mom was satisfied with Halong Bay Cruise trip as this was her first time in Vietnam. Thanks to our driver Jerry for smooth & safe ride. FYI When you are satisfied with the service when you go to places, don’t forget to pay tips to local vendors. Even just a small amount will make them happy.

Because we were staying far from the Old Quarter, our tour guide, Sam, met us at a designated location to wait for our shared bus. Traffic jams in the city delayed our departure, but the rest of the trip went smoothly. We stopped at a rest stop along the way for shopping (no pushy sales) and restroom breaks. Arriving in Halong Bay around noon, we quickly boarded the boat and departed. The actual boat service was consistent with the website's image and description—quite crowded, but not overcrowded. Halong Bay's scenery, against the backdrop of the blue sky and sunset, offered a uniquely beautiful sight. On the return trip, the bus will occasionally make temporary stops at suitable locations in Hanoi city. Ask your guide if you need to.

The bus and boat equipment are very new, the tour guide is funny and humorous, I recommend it to everyone.

Director Henry was very good at organizing the trip, adjusting the itinerary flexibly based on crowds and boat loads, so we avoided the crowds. For the bamboo rafting trip, I highly recommend taking a speedboat for a small fee. This allows you to explore areas only accessible on the 3-day, 2-night boat trip. You'll also get to see more of Halong Bay, and it's well worth the extra $10!

we joined a one-day trip to Ha Long Bay, and our guide, Austin, was amazing! He picked us up at the hotel right on time and was full of energy. Because of the weather, Austin flexibly adjusted the itinerary, which made the whole trip even more perfect. The cruise environment was also very nice and clean. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend tour guide Henry. He contacted us the day before to confirm the pick-up time and location for the next day. He explained everything along the way in detail and was serious and dedicated. I hope to serve him again if I have the chance in the future.
