Take a leisure walk to the nearby the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre to see the world’s smallest bear in its natural environment.

Sandakan Nature City Tour

Sandakan Memorial Park : Visit the park adjacent to the site of the original Sandakan Prisoner of War (POW) Camp, commemorating the sacrifice and suffering of Australian and British soldiers during WWII.

Puu Jih Shih Buddhist Temple : Visit the temple on a steep hilltop for a magnificent view of Sandakan Bay and the Town Centre.

St. Michael’s Church : Explore one of the oldest churches in Sabah.

Central Market : Experience local produce and fresh seafood at the bustling market.

Agnes Keith Museum : Learn about colonial life through the life of Agnes and Harry Keith. Harry was the first conservator of the Forestry Department in Sabah, and Agnes authored "Land Below The Wind," "Three Came Home," and "White Man Returns."

English Tea House : Enjoy a scenic view of Sandakan Nature City.
