Fish from Amakusa, horse sashimi from Kumamoto, firefly squid from Toyama, bamboo shoots from Kumamoto, spring cabbage, red eggplant, vegetables from Yamagata (natural wild vegetables are available from late April to May) A Japanese izakaya serving local Japanese food and sake, all made in Japan. The owner is from Kumamoto and the proprietress is from Yamagata, so there are times when both Kumamoto and Yamagata produce is in season. Reservations are required for Kumamoto horse sashimi and tataki. We have local sake from Yamagata and all over Japan, Yamagata wine, Gassan beer, and more.
