雅典古市集博物館位於阿塔羅斯柱廊建築內，該建築建於公元前150年左右，是典型的希臘化時期建築。博物館內還展示了許多由此地所出土的陶器、壺等古希臘日常生活用品。館外的阿塔羅斯柱廊也是其一大特色，這座柱廊是古希臘遺跡中被完全復原的建築物，還有不遠處的的赫菲斯託斯神廟，也可一道參觀。
