The ship is very large, almost like a cruise ship, and has three types of seating. If you don't mind others looking, you can buy a non-reserved seat and lie down wherever you want. The more expensive seats are independent and a bit far from the next seat, so you can rest properly.

The berths are comfortable to sleep in, but seasickness medication is recommended. The deck was windy and the scenery was beautiful. I slept in comfort just in time for arrival at the port.

The ship was full and we couldn't sleep in the carpeted area. They had silver mats available for rent on board, so we were able to sit in the lobby and move around. We were grateful that we could travel cheaply even during the holidays.

We took the return flight at 4:05 pm and saw the beautiful sunset of Sado Island from the stern of the ship. The sunset, accompanied by the beautiful flying posture of seagulls, ended our wonderful trip to Sado Island.

Take the ferry from Niigata Port to Ryotsu Port. There is a game room on board and meals are provided (for a fee). The experience is good.

It was a great experience. It was fun to take a boat with the people of Sado. I happened to meet students who were returning to Sado Island after participating in an event. It was very youthful.
