Mrs Macquarie's Chair Mrs Macquarie's Chair is a stone chair carved by craftsmen in memory of Mrs Macquarie. Located on a peninsula at the northeast end of the Sydney Royal Botanic Gardens in the city of Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, it is carved from a huge exposed sandstone.
