Daikodo (Important Cultural Property) A training hall where monks listen to lectures on the Lotus Sutra and study by asking each other questions. The founders of each sect are enshrined here, and you can feel the profound teachings of Buddhism.

Monju Tower (Important Cultural Property) A tower gate dedicated to Monju Bodhisattva, the god of wisdom. It is said to grant blessings for passing exams and academic success.

Konponchudo (National Treasure) This is the main hall of Enryakuji Temple on Mount Hiei, where the flame of the eternal law has been burning uninterruptedly for 1,200 years since the temple was founded. Currently undergoing major renovations, a study stage has been set up so that visitors can worship during the construction period, providing a rare opportunity to see the major renovation of this national treasure up close.

Kaidan-in Temple: A hall where the ordination ceremony for becoming an official Tendai sect monk is held.

Among the six pagodas erected by Dengyo Daishi Saicho in Japan, the East Pagoda of Hokke Soji-in Temple is the one that oversees them all, and together with the Konponchudo, it is an important religious training center. The Amida Hall is a hall for ancestor worship where Amida Nyorai is enshrined.
