Tour was perfectly planned with ample time for each of the 2 attractions. Splendid day with a beautiful scenery at Shirakawa-go. Our tour guide Ren Ran was also very friendly and helpful. Kudos to her!

本次行程紧凑，卡时间点。导游宫本秀美（Ms miyamoto）很专业，英韩日三国语言流利🤩，讲解很详尽。可惜没有下雪❄️，有一点点的遗憾。希望有机会再来，预订村子里的旅店，感受一下这里宁静舒适的生活😌

I don’t think I will be returning to Shirakawa-go, so this is my only chance. First for the good part, Amy was a very caring and helpful guide, making the trip feels more exciting and homely. We also didn’t face any traffic jams that day, so the timeline was accurate and we were able to have the most time possible at both Takayama and Shirakawa. The meeting point was also quite easy to find, we actually preferred it better than queuing directly at the station’s bus stop as it would’ve made it a hard time for us to find the right bus. What’s unfortunate was that the trip depends entirely on the weather that day - I heard from Amy that trips on Jan 24 were cancelled for snow falling too heavily. On the day I went (Feb 14), it stopped snowing in both places for days so it was extremely sunny and hot, not only tired us out but also made the scenery look worse than it could’ve been.

The tour guide explained the local culture, making the bus ride interesting. The guide was very enthusiastic, and the itinerary was well-planned; the only downside was that there wasn't enough time. Next time, I might go for a 2-day, 1-night trip.

The schedule is a bit tight since we had to visit both Takayama and Shirakawago, so we had little time to explore Shirakawago; but nonetheless, it was a nice trip!

Smooth bus ride and ample time at each location. Our guide introduced each place on the tour bus before we arrive and gave recommendations on what to eat /see in the areas. It was raining when we were at Shirakawago. There's not much shelter around, so best to bring along umbrella (can buy at the convenient store there too). The small observatory deck bus will come by only every half an hour, best to queue for it immediately on arrival.

A bit of a delay departing from Nagoya due crowded traffic from our bus coming. and slow traffic from the beginning journey. but our tour guide and driver is very nice. Still giving us enough time at Hida Takayama and Shirrakawa-go. Overall it is worth it. Our drive is very nice and kind. keep smiling.

Spent about 2 hours in Takayama and about 1.5 at Shirakawago. (Most of the time will be spent on the road, so manage your expectations.) Enjoyable whether or not it is your first time, it will definitely leave you looking for another visit. We had an excellent tour guide, Jane-san, who gave a lot of tips about which shops to check out. Thank you too to our driver who drove for hours.

Takayama Old Town & Shirakawa-go are quite far from Nagoya, so time is limited. Fortunately, there was no traffic jam that day. Sister Liu is kind and the explanation is easy to understand.
