North Okinawa is a challenge to go to but thanks to this chartered ride, we were able to see the eastern and western coasts on the way to our hotel in Ada. We were there for the Yanbaru Kuina so driver Uehara took us to the learning center, and he also patiently drove slowly along Routes 20 and 70 where the kuinas usually cross the roads. We wanted to tip him but were unsure about the etiquette aspect. Just a few hours after he dropped us at the hotel, we saw the kuinas!

He also bring us to local food restaurant and tell us how to use all the seasoning on the table. I really feel appreciated. - He speak mostly in Japanese, but also can speak some English. However, our trip has one member that can speak Japanese. - In the car, there is a VDO about the famous place to visit and some cartoon that can keep your kids not feel boring while traveling.

Japanese driver spoke a little english, but enough to communicate where we were going to. Driver was friendly and car was clean.

The disembarkation time was much later than expected that day. The driver, Juan Juan, was patiently waiting for the elders in the port.
